Hear from current Mechanical Apprentice, Jake.

Minetek have supported both my needs and requirements during my current apprenticeship. I have been taught lots of general industry and product knowledge. I have gained lots of on job experience i.e fitting bearings, greasing systems, overhead crane use, motor/ pump assemblies and much more.

My work and study balance is great as everyone in the workspace understands when I have an upcoming exam. Not getting pressured to do overtime allows me to have enough time at home to study ready for my next TAFE day.

I would highly recommend Minetek to any upcoming or current apprentices as we have a great team with lots of highly experienced individuals that understand what it’s like being an apprentice and would help them excel in their trade. I see myself working with Minetek after I finish my apprenticeship as I am excited to be a tradesman and excel in the business.
